Buiten dat de familie's hun kennis deelde over het wijn maken investeerde men veel in het rijke wijnhuis. Over het gehele wijngebied Bourgogne heeft Chanson de mooiste wijngaarden. Alle wijngaarden zijn op leeftijd en soms wel negentig jaar oud, dat geeft niet veel opbrengst maar wel een fantastische kwaliteit. Doordat de oude stokken diep geworteld zijn in de kalk rijke grond kunnen ze veel indrukken opnemen uit de bodem. De wijngaarden liggen in Côte Chalonnaise, Côte d'Or en Côte de Beaune, op de beste hellingen en met de beste weersomstandigheden worden hier de Chardonnay druiven verbouwd. Het klimaat is perfect door de vele zon uren rijpen de Chardonnay druiven volmaakt, maar krijgen ook koelte van de nacht temperatuur en wind die door de wijngaarden waait. Dit alles draagt bij aan de kwaliteit van deze Chanson Bourgogne Chardonnay.Houtlagering voor de Chanson Bourgogne Chardonnay
Als de Chardonnay druiven hun rijpheid hebben bereikt wordt elke wijngaard apart met de hand binnen gehaald. Een moeilijke klus want sommige hellingen zijn erg stijl. In kleine kratjes worden de druiven neergelegd nadat ze met het menselijk oog zijn gecontroleerd. Want enkel de beste trossen worden verwerkt in deze Chardonnay. Als de blend is bepaald door de wijnmaker van Chanson wordt de wijn gelagerd op eiken houten vaten. Dit geeft de volle en krachtige geur en smaak aan deze witte Chanson Bourgogne Chardonnay. De kleur van deze Chanson Le Bourgogne Chardonnay is veel belovend namelijk goudkleurig met een groene schittering. In de geur delicate aroma's van exotisch fruit en vers honing met een vleugje mineraliteit maar ook vanille en houttonen. De smaak is eveneens een plaatje met veel structuur een dikke aanzet en volop geel fruit, beetje vanille en een perfecte zuurgraad die de wijn helemaal in balans brengt. Good Beginner Matcha

I am a beginner Matcha enthusiast and I love i
making matcha lattes at home (my favorite is Strawberry Matcha lattes). I have repurchased Superior Ceremonial 3× now. I am on my second 3.5 oz bag. I've also tried another well known popular affordable matcha (Jade Leaf) and I immediately decided it is better to splurge accouple more dollars in purchasing Naoki. The texture of the powder is extremely fine. The color is a beautiful dark vibrant green. The flavor is very light with a very low bitterness and a hint of sweetness on its own. It has a very clean taste. However, the flavor does get easily over shadowed by milk and sweetners in a latte. If you want to taste the matcha better you need to add more matcha powder (~4.5 grams). Considering the fact that I am not drinking Matcha traditionally, I do not need a flavor profile that is super complex like what other matcha enthusiasts rave about (often times their recs are super overpriced for its size and/or hard to get). I just need something that will be paired well when used with milk and sweetners. I look for matcha with good quality, affordability, and easy accessibility to repurchase (via Prime adds extra brownie points). Superior Ceremonial checks all the boxes to a first good intro to matcha!

absolute favorite!

I’ve been using Naoki Matcha Superior Ceremonial Blend for about two months now, and I absolutely love it. It has a very smooth taste with no bitterness at all, and it whisks into the most beautiful silky microfoam.
The flavor is mild with a nice subtle umami taste, which makes it really enjoyable to drink every day. My favorite way to make it is as a strawberry matcha latte—it tastes just like something you’d get at a coffee shop.
If you’re looking for a high-quality ceremonial matcha that tastes smooth and not too strong, I highly recommend this one. I will definitely be buying it again!

Delicious at the right temperature

160 degrees Fahrenheit is the perfect temperature to reduce bitterness in this matcha. 170 and 175 produced more bitterness.
It’s smooth, savory, not bitter, mixes easily, and is delicious purely on its own (not in a latte). It’s a great value for drinking alone and probably on the more expensive end if you sweeten or add milk.

Not bad

Great if you like a more subtle flavor, not bitter. If you just add it to milk then it has a slight very brief strong aftertaste, but I like mine a bit stronger. it mixed well it did not clump for me, it was a great vivid color. I will say I prefer a strong, bold matcha taste in my lattes so I do not think I would purchase again but overall it is a great option for beginners, people trying to figure out what they like, or folks who like a smoother, not bitter taste. The tin did come dented unfortunately, not a huge deal but also not great to receive a product that has been somewhat damaged.

Creamy, Smooth, and Fresh — Perfect First Matcha Experience

I tried the Naoki Superior Blend Matcha for the first time and was honestly impressed from day one. I prepared it with milk, and the matcha turned out incredibly creamy and smooth with a natural sweetness — no bitterness at all.
The color was a vibrant bright green, which immediately made it feel fresh and high quality. You can tell this is not one of those dull, stale matcha powders. It mixed well and had a very clean, balanced flavor.
As someone who was looking for authentic Japanese matcha without the marketing gimmicks, this felt like a great find. Looking forward to trying it next with just warm water to experience the flavor on its own.
